Comex 2022 showcases innovations in technology
Muscat: The Comex 2022 technology exhibition, in its 31st edition, kick started on Monday at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre (OCEC).
The three-day event’s opening ceremony was held under the auspices of Dr. Kahmis Saif Al Jabri, Head of Oman Vision 2040 Implementation Follow-up unit.
Al Jabri said that the event introduces the latest advanced technologies in line with Oman’s drive towards a digital economy, which is vital to realising the priorities of Oman Vision 2040.
Dr. Ali Amer Al Shidhani, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology for Communications and Information Technology said that this exhibition coincides with Muscat being picked as the Arab Digital Capital 2022. He also pointed out that the event sees wide participation by government units.
